How His Son Sam runs it
It’s almost a year that Prophet Michael Ojo Olowere, the General-Overseer of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Oke -Agbara, Ashi-Bodija, Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State, passed away.
Baba Automatic, as the powerful prophet and one of the CAC’s most respected ministers of God was popularly called, died on Wednesday, 5th of July, 2023. He died at a very ripe age of 99.
Olowere in his lifetime was a firebrand and an outstanding prayer warrior. He was widely known for his prophetic prayer points. At the mention of Baba Olowere’s name, what comes to many people’s minds is Automatic Prayer.
The Automatic Prayer session could be described as the flagship of Oke-Agbara ministry. It’s a prayer session on Monday of every 15 days. This is one powerful program people don’t miss. It’s always full of signs and wonders. Top celebrities including captains of industries, big politicians, popular musicians and what have you attend Automatic Prayer program.
Many top ministers of God within and outside Oyo State, any gospel singer worth his or her salt must have at one point or the other ministered or performed at Oke-Agbara.
It’s also a program people come to attend as far as overseas. And this is not an exaggeration. Those who have attended or partook in the miracles God has done through the program in the past could testify.
The good news, however, is that all the programs at Oke-Agbara are still very much intact after Prophet Michael Ojo Olowere’s death.
Baba’s son, Pastor Sam Olowere has filled the enormous vacuum created by his demise. And he’s done quite a great job overseeing affairs of the church. The number of people that still throng different programs of the church including Sunday services is a great testimony to that fact.
This is simply because there is no way you would have loved Prophet Olowere and you will not like Pastor Sam. He has learnt a lot under the ministry of his late father.
Apart from being a spirit-filled young and vibrant minister, Pastor Sam Olowere is also a great preacher. He’s a brilliant motivational speaker and a prayer warrior too.
The Oloweres are all very sound spiritually. None of them can ever be caught napping when it comes to prayer. That’s what their background has taught them and that is what they grew up to know about. They’ve been great vessels in God’s vineyard.
Recently, this reporter paid an unofficial visit to Oke-Agbara at Ashi-Bodija area of Ibadan, and was amazed at what he saw. The church was as lively as ever during the visit.
It was gathered that people in their number still come from far and near to attend different programs of the church.
People still throng the church for Automatic Prayer, Prophetic Night of Praise, Miracle Prayer Session for those looking for the fruit of womb as well as Sunday services.
