Cameroonian Coffin Maker Caught Removing Drips From Patients At Hospital

Cameronian coffin maker has been arrested after he was allegedly caught disconnecting drips being administered to cholera patients on admission in a hospital. The suspect, 33, reportedly crept into a ward where victims of cholera were being treated at a hospital in Limbe, a seaside city in the South-West Region of Cameroon when the patients were sleeping and quietly disconnected a few of the drips before a nurse walked in on him. The suspect reportedly tried to dash out after the nurse raised an alarm, but he was chased down by the security guards on duty and beaten up. The suspect was then tied while the police were summoned to arrest him. While it was speculated that the man might be mentally-challenged, a Cameroon-based media outlet, Mikozi Network, which shared the news on Twitter later reported that preliminary investigations revealed that the man is a local coffin maker in the same neighbourhood as the hospital. First African Neuro-physiotherapy Professor, Kolapo Hamsat Dies At 53

Death has been announced of the first African professor of Neuro-physiotherapy, Professor Tal-hatu Kolapo Hamsat. The Ibadan-born Prof., we scooped died after a brief illness, at the age of 53. Professor Tal-hatu Kolapo Hamzat, it would be recalled, contested the last vice-chancellorship at the University of Ibadan. Two Bankers Jail 3 Years For N9.4m ATM Card Fraud In Makurdi

Two bankers, Agbo John Agama and Edoh Steve were today, Wednesday, January 11, 2023, convicted and sentenced to three years imprisonment by Justice Mojisola Olajuwon of the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, for conspiracy, aiding and abetting fraud to the tune of Nine Million Four Hundred Thousand Naira (N9, 400,000). The convicts were prosecuted on one count charge by the Makurdi Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC. Governor 'Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has declared that his administration was set to turn the five local governments in Ogbomoso zone into Agro-Industrial Processing Zones. The governor, who made the promise during separate meetings with the leadedship of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and Muslim clerics in Ikoyi-Ile, Oriire Local Government Area of the state,  said that his administration will explore the potentials of each of the local governments.
