The Senator representing Plateau North Senatorial District and former governor of Plateau State, Jonah Jang has declared that the intervention of former military presidents, General Ibrahim Babagida and General Abdulsalami Abubakar, by reconciling Amodu Sheriff and Ahmed Makarfi factions of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) “has sealed the party’s victory in 2019.”

The Oyo State Government has condoled with the families of victims of the multiple accidents that occurred at Oja-Oba area of Ibadan South-East Local government in Ibadan which claimed about four lives.
EFCC Denies Detaining Femi Fani-Kayode's Wife and Son.
In a swift reaction to the former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode's claim that the Economic and Crimes Commission (EFCC) arrested and detained his wife and 9 month-old son inside a bank in Ado-Ekiti yesterday, the commission’s spokesman, Mr. Wilson Uwujaren, on Monday night said the ex-minister’s wife attempted to withdraw money from an account which the agency had frozen.
