Late Eruwa-born Billionaire's Son Debo Ogundoyin Emerges Oyo Assembly Speaker

The son of late Eruwa-born billionaire, Chief Adeseun Ogunsola, Debo has emerged Speaker of Oyo State House of Assembly.

Ogundoyin emergence came today at the first sitting of the state's 9th assembly, shortly after their induction.

The 32-year-old, Debo Ogundoyin is one of the 32 honourables who won their various constituencies in the March 9 election in the state, making him a returnee member of the House, under APC.

Debo, you would recall, made his way into Oyo State House of Assembly when he won the Ibarapa East by-election after the death of the former Speaker of the state's Assembly, Hon. Michael Alake Adeyemo, last year, under Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). He defeated APC's candidate, Mr. Olukunle Adeyemo in the poll.

He is an Agronomy graduate of Babcock University.


100 Days In Office: UCH CMD, Otegbayo Launches 'Cash and Carry' Pharmacy

As part of activities marking his 100 days in office, Chief Medical Director (CMD) of the University College Hospital, UCH, Ibadan, Prof Jesee Otegbayo has commissioned a new pharmacy called 'Cash and Carry'.

The new pharmacy outlet, which is said to be an innovation to improve patient ease of getting drugs and medical consumables alike, is located opposite engineering/works department within the premises of the hospital.
