Popular businessman Tope Agbeyo loses gospel singer brother

The Chairman Cornfield Group of Companies Tope Agbeyo on Wednesday lost his younger brother, Dele Agbeyo, popularity known as Dele Gold. Though details of his death have not been established, the social media is already awash with condolences from his colleagues. This is coming barely a month after another gospel singer, Aduke Gold, passed away. $1.6m Visa Fraud: American businessman, Marco Ramirez jails for 68 years in Lagos

An American businessman, Marco Ramirez, was convicted on Tuesday by Justice Mojisola Dada of Special Offence Court sitting in Ikeja, Lagos for $1.2 million EB-5 visa scam. Ramirez was also convicted for a separate $368,698.24 fraud. Trendscopenews understand that Ramirez was prosecuted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, alongside his companies, USA NOW LLC, Eagle Ford Instalodge Group LP and USA Now Energy Capital Group LP, for an alleged $1,235,000 EB-5 visa scam. He perpetuated the crime under false pretence of processing visa for his victims, according to the statement by the anti-graft agency on its social media page. The statement stated that the defendant allegedly obtained the money from his victims as processing fees for their investments in his company, USA Now Energy Capital Group LP, in the Employment-Based Fifth Preference (EB-5) United States of America Investor Programme, which would qualify them to be eligible for the issuance of USA Green Card.
