Ebenezer Obey to thrill guests at final burial of late Olubadan, Oba Balogun

Veteran juju singer, Evangelist Ebenezer Obey-Fabiyi will on Saturday, 8th June, 2024, thrill guests at the final burial of the late Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Mohood Olalekan Balogun, Alli Okunmade 11, a source revealed to TrendscopeNews.com. NDLEA nabs intending pilgrims with cocaine consignments in Lagos

Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) on Wednesday arrested four intending pilgrims as they prepared to consume wraps of cocaine before takeoff In a statement released in Abuja on Thursday, Director of Media and Advocacy for the NDLEA, Femi Babafemi, described how the arrest came about, stating that its agents had searched the Emerald Hotel in the Ladipo neighborhood of Oshodi, Lagos State, where some of the intended pilgrims were staying. Ayinla Kemi, 34, Usman Kamorudeen, 31, Olasunkanmi Owolabi, 46, and Fatai Yekini, 38, are among the people detained during the intelligence-led operation. When NDLEA agents raided the four suspects' rooms, they were holed up in two rooms of the hotel, where they had prepared 200 kg of cocaine pellets for ingestion. Between the two rooms, 100 wraps of the Class A drug were found, for a total of 200 wraps of cocaine that were taken into custody. Each of the two suspects was required to ingest 100 wraps. Brig Gen. 'Documents not official', FG debunks news of 2024 subsidy payment

The federal government of Nigeria has denied reports that it plans to pay about N5.4 trillion fuel subsidy in 2024. This is against the backdrop that the government had finally admitted of paying fuel after its removal and denials that had followed.
