The CEO of Opulence Creation and Outfits, Alhaji Bashir Azeez Akande will on Saturday 12th October, 2024, be installed as Mogaji Olorin Family of Ijaye-Orile and the Maye Onijaye of Ijaye-Orile, Akinyele Local Government of Oyo State. Akande, in chat with Trendscopenews, announced that the installation ceremony will hold at the Ijaye Palace of Onijaiye of Ijaye-Orile, His Royal Highness, Oba Lasisi Oladimeji Akano (Alemulera1). It has been congratulations galore for the Ibadan-based fashion designer since details of the installation was made public.  Top celebrities, especially members of the Ibadan Golf Club (IGC) where Akande is a prominent member, are expected to grace the epochal event.

All is now set for the celebration of the 40th anniversary reunion of the 1984 set of the Government College Ibadan Old Boys Association. The 3-day event is scheduled to hold between Thursday 17th and Saturday 19th of October, 2024 at the Felicia Hall of Jogor Event Centre, Obafemi Awolowo Stadium Road, Ibadan. The anniversary celebration, according to the organizers, will feature many activities, including charity walk on cancer awareness, medical outreach and Annual General Meeting (AGM). Other events that will take place are banquet (to hold on the 18th at Felicia Hall, Jogor Centre), presentation of cheque for WAEC and JAMB fees as well as donation of uniforms and inauguration of projects. The celebration promises to be an unforgettable experience of a lifetime, according to GCIOBA 84 Set, will commence on Thursday 17th October with a press conference, games and welcome cocktail at the poolside of Jogor Hotel by 7pm.
