Losing One's Wife Is The Most Tragic Experience, Folarin Condoles With Orji Uzor Kalu Over Wife's Death


Senator Teslim Folarin has expressed his condolences to the Senate Chief Whip, Orji Uzor Kalu, over the death of his wife, Mrs Ifeoma Ada Kalu. Who died in US on Monday, 3rd April, 2023, at the age of 61.

Folarin, candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the last Guber election in Oyo State, described the death of Mrs Kalu, who was the former first lady of Abia State, as painful and shocking.

The former Senate Leader, in a condolence message, on his Facebook page, said he feels the pain of Orji Uzor Kalu and his family at this time. Saying that Mrs Ifeoma Ada Kalu was a loyal and supportive wife, who stood with her husband through the thick and thin.

He said: "I extend my deepest sympathy to His Excellency Senator Orji Uzor Kalu and members of his family on the demise of former First Lady of Abia State, Her Excellency Ifeoma Ada.

Losing one's wife is the most tragic experience. I feel what His Excellency Uzor Kalu must be going through. It is a wound that time does not heal.

Her Excellency Ifeoma Ada was a loyal and supportive wife. She stood by her husband through thick and thin. She was virtuous and humanitarian to the core. We take solace in the fact that she lived a purposeful life.

I pray to God to Grant distinguished colleague and his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. May the departed soul rest in perfect peace."

Folarin, it would be recalled, lost his own wife, Chief (Mrs) Angela Folarin, to the cold hands of death in January 2022.

BREAKING! Oyo Assembly Speaker's Mum, Tina Ogundoyin To Be Buried 14th April


Arrangements are in place for the popular socialite and mother of the Oyo State House of Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, Chief (Mrs) Tina Ogundoyin to be buried on Friday 14th April, 2023. Tina Ogundoyin died on Sunday 26 March, 2023, at the age of 63.

According to the information at our disposal, the burial programme is going to be a 3-day affair.

On Wednesday 12 April, Service of Songs will be held in honor of the deceased at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Oke-Ado, Ibadan. The train will then move, in a motorcade procession, from Ibadan to Eruwa on Thursday 13 April for Candlelight, Lying-in-State and Christian Wake. While burial service and interment comes up on Friday 14th April, 2023, at venues which will be disclosed later by the family.

Chief (Mrs) Tina Ogundoyin, in her lifetime, was a woman of substance and immense style. The Queen of Sheba, as she was popularly called in the social scene was a paragon of beauty.


She was a businesswoman and one of the widows of late Eruwa-born business mogul, Chief Adeseun Ayisa Ogundoyin. Her contributions to the development of the husband’s home town, Eruwa earned her the tittle of Iyaloja-General of Ibarapaland.

Described by many as a woman of many parts, Ogundoyin was quite popular not only in the social scene but also in business and political circles. She is survived by her four children; Adesoji, Adebo , Adetoye and Aderemi.
