Atiku Visits Kogi, Promises To Complete APC’s Abandoned Projects

Former Vice President and Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Atiku Abnubakar has promised to complete the projects abandoned by the ruling All Progressives Congress if elected. He made the promise after the PDP rally in Lokoja, the Kogi State capital on Monday.  Atiku Abubakar, who said he felt at home in Kogi State reminded people that “the two power stations in Kogi and the stadium are legacies of the PDP”. He went on to note that “creation of jobs is the priority of the PDP” just as he assured that “the abandoned projects of the APC will be completed”. Ajimobi directs police to fish-out perpetrators of Ibadan mayhem

Governor Abiola Ajimobi on Monday mandated the Oyo State Police Command to fish out the perpetrators of mayhem at different locations in the state, saying that anyone arrested should be treated like a hardened criminal. The governor, who was on an on-the-spot inspection to Idi Arere, Asaka and Oja’gbo areas of Ibadan; the locations of the mayhem in the company of the Commissioner of Police, Mr. Abiodun Odude and his men as well as senior government officials, said that the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) will do the assessment of the loss in order for government to help the victims.
