A former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and the Oyo APC guber hopeful, Bayo Adeabu has added another feather to his cap. As the Alado of Ado Awaye, Oba Ademola Olugbile, conferred on him the chieftaincy title of 'Aare of Ado Awaye'.
This honour, according to the monarch, came as a result of Bayo Adelabu's philanthropic gesture and immense contribution towards the development of Ado Awayeto and Oyo state generally.
The event, which held at the palace of Alado of Ado Awaye, had in attendance many traditional rulers and top dignitaries. Amongst who is the Eleruwa of Eruwa, Oba Samuel Adegbola; Aseyin of Iseyin, Oba Adekunle Salawudeen Ologunebi Ajinese 1 and others.
Adelabu, who is aspiring to be the next governor of the state, is also the Agbaakin Parakoyi Olubadan of Ibadanland.
