It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead" could best describe the mind of a leading governorship aspirant in the forthcoming election in the state of Osun, Dr. Ismail Abiodun Saka-Layonu (SAN) as he celebrates Oluwo of Iwo land, Oba Abdul-Rasheed Adewale Akanbi, Telu 1 at 51.
Dr. Saka-Layonu who is an aspirant under the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) on Friday described Oba Akanbi as a unique traditional ruler who is endowed with enviable human qualities.
He acknowledged that the king's peaceful reign in the ancient town has further strengthened the peace enjoyed in the state of Osun at large.
The Senior Advocate of Nigeria noted that the first-class traditional ruler has since his installation being a major player in the development of the state by supporting all plans and policies of the Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola led APC government in Osun.
Dr. Abiodun SAN who simultaneously called the king a top promoter of the prestigious Yoruba culture who has exposed it to other parts of the country and the international communities through positive moves, collaboration and actions.
The Ede born politician wished the traditional ruler happy birthday and also prayed to God for sound health and prosperity over Oluwo of Iwo land for the state of Osun and Nigeria in general to continue benefiting from his pleasant reign on the throne of his forefathers.
