Lagos Based Juju Music Star, Mega 9'9 Out With Emajo Emayo Video.

Last year, the celebrated Juju Music Star, Prince Abel Dosunmu aka Mega9’9 launched his new album titled “Emajo Emayo” alongside his newly acquired multi-million naira musical instruments. In an industry that finds it rare for Juju and Fuji artistes to shoot videos for their album, Mega9’9 seem to have upped his game when it comes to video, he has set standards as the only Juju artiste who drops albums yearly in a quest to revive the dying Juju genre.

According to Mega 9’9, “As far as entertainment industry in Nigeria is going, things have change entirely, the standards of the videos those Hip-Hop guys are reeling out now is of international level, so if you want to be relevant and be respected by your fans, you just have to go of out the box. With the way things are going one must follow up with expensive and classic video."He stated.

In less than a year after the album was released, the seasoned musician has finally put out the video for the album, Emajo Emayo. This feat has set him out from the rest as a recognised dedicated juju musician. The full length video portrays him singing all the danceable tracks in the 2 sided album. Mega9’9 is fast becoming a household name for his genre of music, he started as a choir member in the church.

He has paddled fairly well through the murky waters of the music world in Nigeria. The maverick gospel Juju music star has put his state of the art musical equipment to good use as he has released the visuals for the latest album.

The video is of topnotch quality and stands distinct as everything about it speaks of the multimillion Naira equipment. The new video was recorded and directed by X-Walez, one of the hottest video directors in the country and also shot at different locations in Lagos. The multi award winning act boasts of plagues as the Best Juju Music artiste from the Yoruba Music & Films Awards as well as City People Entertainment Awards.

Emajo Emayo video, since it was released, has been enjoying massive airplay on digital and terrestrial music stations in the country. Mega 9'9 also has an annual gospel package he releases in the form of an album. Titled ‘Supplication’, it is an offering through which the artiste communes with his fans.
