Barr. Kayode Oduoye, son of late Senator Simon Oduoye and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)'s candidate for Ifelodun/Boripe/Odo-Otin Federal Constituency in the last general elections, has frowned at the judgement of the Osun Election Petitions Tribunal, which upheld election of the sitting honourable for the constituency, Hon. Yinka Ajayi.
Kayode Oduoye, who shortly of the judgement, addressed his supporters and assured them of not relenting on his effort to reclaim his mandate.
Super Kay, as he is popularly known on the Osun political scene has decided to pursue his case at the Appeal Court. He described the judgment as subversion of justice. Especially the way and manner the whole process is being handled.
"The Tribunal Court upholds the result of an election that is ridden with manipulation. This is shocking!!!
All the material evidence that clearly shows the results were manipulated which were initially admitted during the trial were now expunged at judgment today. I have not heard this before!!!
Why were the evidence admitted in the first place? Was it not to aid and direct the minds of the judges towards judgment??
This is absolutely unbelievable! These are clear cases of manipulation.
There is just no true justice in this land. We are proceeding to APPEAL COURT, " he stated.
The Election Petitions Tribunal sitting in Osun State, on Friday strike out Kayode Oduoye's petitions against his opponent.
