Ebenezer Obey to thrill guests at final burial of late Olubadan, Oba Balogun

Veteran juju singer, Evangelist Ebenezer Obey-Fabiyi will on Saturday, 8th June, 2024, thrill guests at the final burial of the late Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Mohood Olalekan Balogun, Alli Okunmade 11, a source revealed to TrendscopeNews.com.

The burial, packaged by the Oyo state government, is holding at the Obafemi Awolowo Stadium (formerly Liberty Stadium), Liberty Road, Ibadan.

This, TrendscopeNews.com gathered, is part of government's plans to give the late monarch a state burial befitting his status.

The official colour of the burial ceremony is Mint Green.

Top celebrities, government officials, family and friends of the Baloguns as well as traditional rulers are expecting to grace the occasion.

It's going to be strictly by invitation affairs, the source added, saying that the program commences by 11am.

Oba Lekan Balogun, recall, joined his ancestors on Thursday, 14th March, 2024. He passed away at the age of 81 after reigning for two years as the 42nd Olubadan.
