Late Demola Doherty to be buried in London May 28


A former chairman of Ifako-Ijaye Local Government, Hon. Abdulgafar Demola Doherty, will be buried in London on Tuesday, May 28, family statement confirmed.

TrendscopeNews.com learnt that Doherty passed away in London, United Kingdom on Thursday, 23 May, 2024

The family statement reads: "Dear family and friends,
Our beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend, Hon. Abdul Gafar Demola Doherty passed away on Thursday May 23, 2024.

"Words can’t describe how much we’ll miss him. We know that he touched many lives, and we’re devastated to have to break this news.

"He was well-loved and will be missed by many.

"Burial Arrangements For:
Late Hon.  Abdul Gafar Demola Doherty.
Tuesday, 28th May 2024.

"Burial at Gardens of Peace.
Five Oaks Lane. Chigwell. IG7 4QP.

"Pre- Burial: Salatul Janazah at Cemetery, which starts at 11:15 am
Funeral - Interment: 11:30 am.
