Ibadan Set To Host Grandiose Food and Drink Festival

Plans are moving at full gallop for the 2018 edition of the Grandiose Food and Drink Festival holding in Ibadan.
The event, put together by a group of young entrepreneurs who want to change the face of the food and drink industry in Oyo State, comes with the aim of changing the perspective of people in the state concerning the food industry.

The organisers have also stated that the festival will afford players in the retail food and drink market to build a strong network among themselves.

“The food and drink festival is an experimental platform designed to bring about players in the retail food and drink market together to enable networking among restaurants and quick service restaurant owners”, the organisers said.

The event is also expected to help in building a collaborative front among the participants and also carry strong implications on the market and their respective brands.

At the festival, holding on the open field beside the Florence Ajimobi Health Centre, Oluyole Estate, Ibadan on October 1st, participants will have stands through which they will reach out to various customers.

“The festival, which will be an annual event is part of what the young entrepreneurs believe will change the status quo in the food industry and also add to the tourism potential of Ibadan and Oyo State”, Damilola Adejumo, one of the entrepreneurs and the brain behind 'Sokoyokoto Restaurant' confirmed.
