Nigeria's premier technical university, The Technical University, Ibadan has appointed Wole Adejumo has its new Public Relations Officer.
This appointment, we gathered, came as a of the former PRO, Mr. Ademola Adesola's exit from the university to further his education in Canada.
The new PRO, Oluwole Adejumo, is an Ibadan-born journalist, who until his appointment was a Contributing Editor at Parrot Xtra Magazine.
He had also worked at the City People Magazine as a Senior Correspondent between 2003 and 2008. He later joined The Street Journal as Editor and also served as the magazine’s first Online Editor, a position he held till 2014.
Adejumo holds a BA degree in Archaeology and a Master’s degree in Social Work, both from the University of Ibadan.
His appointment will soon be announced officially.
