Taiwo Akande Adebisi, popularly known as 'Taye Currency', the Ibadan based and one of the respected Naija Fuji music acts, got a rousing welcome by his teaming fans and friends as he landed in South Africa in the early hours of today.

Currency, we exclusively gathered, would be playing tonight at the popular Club Rendezvous, Pretoria North.

Also, Part of his South Africa musical tour will see him playing at Event Hall of the Executive Broadway Hotel, Malvern Johannesburg and many other places.

In a chat with trendscopenewsonline, Currently disclosed that it becomes imperative for him to embark on this trip in other to satisfy his South Africa fans, who have been on a lookout for his coming.

"I really thank God for journey mercy down to this place and I must tell you that I'm highly happy to be here with my loyal fans in South Africa. It's been a while we saw last. They have been part of my success story in the past years because it is very good for a musician to be loved both home and abroad. And that was exactly what the situation like at the airport. I appreciate the warm reception. I appreciate their love and support and am promising never to disappoint them, in giving the best in terms of music, compartment and in giving back to the society," he stated.
