After several quitting and returning back to the Ibadan based independently-owned radio station Splash F.M, popularly broadcaster Edmund Obilo has finally resigned his appointment with the station.
Edmund, the anchor of Voices and Bull's Eye, is ready to move on to the next level of his career. But his exit from Splash F.M was not without some controversies.
We heard he had management misunderstanding with the owner of the radio station, Chief Adebayo Akande's daughter, Bisi, who is the M.D of the station.
His chat with an online medium (PMParrotng.com) is also a kind of confirmation to that.
"This time around, this is the final, final end of my sojourn with Splash FM as a staff.”
On why he decided to announce his exit from the station when he just resumed some three months back afterr a much celebrated exit. "That time, I returned only to fulfill the three-month-notice obligation. The three months are gone and it is time for me to move on," he stated.
He added that his next plans will soon be unveiled.
Recall that it took the intervention of Oyo State Gov., Abiola Ajimobi and some other notable personalities for Edmund Obilo to return to the station when he quits some months back.
Obilo announced his exit this time around on Edmund Obilo Voices facebook fan page "Hello friends, will be bouwing out of SplashFM on Wednesday 28 Sept., 2016 after more than 9 yearrs of journalism experience with the sation. Will miss my beloved SplashFM. Thanks for the support."
