It was gathering of top celebrities from all walks of life, those that matter in the entertainment world as well as prominent OAPS (On Air Personalities), on Wednesday 1st June, 2016, as Ibadan's top baker and the Exquisito Confectioneries Ltd boss, Deola Layade opens her newly upgraded office for business.
The colourful event which held at the company's office, located on Awolowo Avenue Old Bodija, Ibadan, was an avenue for the convener to showcase new innovations she is bringing on board. On display was the company's new products like puff-balls, cookies ,different types of bread, ready made cakes, desserts, delish-doughnut, cupcakes and lots more.
The whole idea according to Deola, is to tap into the great opportunities in technology. "We are upgrading our website in such a way that you will be able to even buy customised branded exquisito-stuff-like phone cases, chef jackets, gifts etc and you can also pay online." "We are now a full blown confectionery outfit cum bakery. We have the fitfam section for the health conscious people like salads, fruit cups, hibiscus juice, carrot cake, sandwiches and loads of other products," she said.
The most interesting aspect of it all however, is the fact that one can actually enjoy these products as stated right inside the place, under a very conducive environment.
Deola has no doubt proven herself to be a game-changer in the industry with over a decade of good service delivery to her numerous clients. Recall she is the one to first introduced cake exhibition in Ibadan.
