Nigeria's President, Muhammadu Buhari, yesterday reads riot acts to the Permanent Secretaries in the country. He seriously warned to shun any form of sabotage, impunity and corruption.
As his government would not tolerate excesses, indifference and incompetence. Buhari noted these during inauguration of the 18 new Permanent Secretaries, out which two were absent, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
In his words, "I must, however, sound a note of warning. It is within public domain that ministers as chief executives of their ministries and other government officials involved in policies formulation and implementation often complain of the intolerable levels of incompetence, indifference or even suspected sabotage by some of the top echelon of the civil service."
