Nigeria's former President, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, on Monday visited his successor, President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The meeting which held for less than 10 minutes took place at the Banquet Hall of the Villa.
Jonathan had arrived around 2 pm and was welcomed by the President. Both men smiled as they went in. By the time they came out shortly after, the smiles on both faces had disappeared.
Dr. Jonathan was in Tanzania recently, where he recently served as an election observer for the African Union.
Meanwhile, President Buhari spoke in India where he asserted that Nigeria is broke due to the mismanagement of her finances by the immediate past administration. The People's Democratic Party took a swipe at the President's statement, emphasizing that he was "demarketing Nigeria" with such statements.
It is believed that the visit might not be unconnected with recent happenings between the Presidency and the PDP.
