Lagos big boy and Chairman/CEO of the popular Movida Nightclub on Victoria Island, Akeem Shodeinde is Dead. Akeem was said to have gave the ghost yesterday as a result from complications from diabetics and kidney failure.
Before his death, the king of nightclub biz, Akeem Shodeinde has been battling with diabetics for a long while in fact, his worsened sickness forced him off the social scene for almost a year in 2012. He later survived it and was until his death living on one kidney.
But the most pathetic thing about Akeem's story however was that even at his deteriorated health, he couldn't stop smoking and drinking.
He admitted the fact that he was fighting real hard to stop the habit and move closer to God in an interview City People Magazine sometimes in 2013, after he came out of hospital bed.
Akeem died at the age of 44 and survived by his only daughter. He would have been 45 by December 28 this year. May his soul Rest in Peace.
