PDP Spokesman, Olisa Metuh Gets Bashing of His Life.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)'s spokesman, Mr. Olisa Metuh has been at the receiving end of all kinds of abuse on the social media, since a statement credit to him was published in some dailies this morning.

In the said press release, Olisa Metuh accused the President-elect, Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (Rtd) and his All Progressive Congress (APC) party of being sectional and insensitive to pressing national issues threatening the unity and stability of the country.

Part of his many allegations against Buhari and APC is the ongoing crisis in Ekiti State, where 19 law makers of APC are planning to impeach Gov. Ayodele Fayose.

Metuh was quoted to have said that, "it is unfortunate that while his men are causing crisis and threatening Nigerians, General Buhari, instead of cautioning them, displayed his insensitivity by jetting around the country, campaigning for his party".

This part of the statement however, seem to have spark-off reactions from different people on the social media. While some described Metuh as a jobless man who has to get himself busy with another thing far away from politics.

Some have criticised him for mentioning Buhari's name in the crisis since his principal is still the president. Some even went as far as saying that the present crisis in Ekiti State is the making of PDP and they should be the one to clean it.

They argued that where was Olisa Metuh and his party when Fayose illegally impeached the Speaker of Ekiti State House of Assembly with 7 members of PDP against 19 members of the APC.
