Updated: Laide Badmus' Friends Tackle Lamide Akinruntan over Husband Snatching Claims

The last has obviously not been heard about the rift between the son of the Chairman of Obat Oil, Prince Yomi Akinruntan’s wife, Lamide and her erstwhile friend, Laide Badmus, who the former accused of dating her husband.
Lamide’s disdain for Laide seemed to have turned offensive when the latter wrote a petition to the police, alleging threats to her life.
Since The Anchor Online broke the story recently, the media has been awash with different versions of the incident. Meanwhile, the latest is that Laide’s friends have risen in her defence, advising Lamide to “stop embarrassing her husband.”

While offering a word of advice, Akeremale Seun posted on Facebook, “Lamide Eboda, I think its best you confront Laide Badmus & Yomi Akinruntan to know if truly they are having an affair & stop all this internet outburst of you and your friends because it won’t solve anything, but rather escalate. Have you confronted her? Stop embarrassing your husband and think about his family name. Your friends think they are embarrassing Laide, No, you people are embarrassing yourselves, especially Yomi that is running for a public office.”

Amber Scoott Oshodi on her own shares a similar opinion on Facebook; “Lamide Eboda! I have a question for u, did u see Laide Badmus wit your hubby? Have you confronted your hubby Yomi Akinruntan? Go and do dat with him and stop talking about Laide, leave Laide out of this, the more you do this, the more u spread yourself outside, to all Lamide’s friends, give a good advise to Lamide, you guys have forgotten that Lamide and Olaide are good friends. If there is an issue between them, you are to settle them, don't put more petrol into fire. I know Lamide from Ibadan, please there should not be a fight or accusations, Lamide face your husband and leave Laide Badmus out of this.”

Another person who believes the whole of the embarrassment is on Yomi Akinruntan is Eniola Yetunde Balogun. She wrote “Lamide Eboda, stop maligning Laide Badmus. Have you confronted her? Why do u keep on saying all sorts, spreading things you don’t have proof or evidence of? Even if she is dating Yomi, all this wouldn’t stop them, it will only make them stronger! Why didn’t you respond to d police invitation due to laide’s petition against you for threatening her life/ If truly u both use to be friends like it has been said, think about it and confirm your allegations because it is not fair.
Remember you are the one that has kids for Yomi, stop embarrassing your so called husband and think about his family name”.
In the opinion of most of Laide’s friends, Lamide should just hold tightly to the reins of the horse of her marriage which seems to be moving at full gallop instead of bothering herself about a non-existent love affair between her husband and Laide.

The real estate sector in Oyo State, especially Ibadan, the capital city, is currently experiencing what could best be described as a mega boom. Thanks to the few investors who saw the vision years back and keyed into it by contributing their quotas to the development of the sector. Kudos also to the Governor Seyi Makinde-led administration in the state for creating an enabling environment (the successive governments couldn't be excused from the success story too). Not only has Makinde's administration created an enabling environment, it has introduced some investors-friendly policies, and as well undertook partnerships that had really helped in bringing about the unprecedented developments in the sector. This has also created room for options for those who are interested in both luxury and low cost estates. Its also explains reasons for the many real estate projects (both completed and ongoing) all over the place. There are developments and construction almost everywhere in Ib
