Gubernatorial flag bearer of Action Democratic Party in Oyo State and former Governor of the state between 2007-2011, Otunba Adebayo Alao-Akala has described the coming of Sen. Abiola Ajimobi as Governor of Oyo State as an abberation that should not have taken place in the first instance. Otunba Alao-Akala said  this while taking a critical assessment of the administration of the APC Government of Sen. Ajimobi while participating on a live interactive radio programme on Gravity FM, Igboho today. According to the former Governor, who is presently on a campaign tour of Oke-Ogun area of Oyo State and terribly disappointed in the outgoing administration of Ajimobi which he described as total failure, a collosal waste of time, money, resources and a disastrous 8 years with nothing tangible to show as achievement or benefit to the people of Oyo State. The Federal Government has filed charges against a gubernatorial aspirant in Kwara State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC anf the Director-General of the National Broadcasting Commission, Modibbo Kawu, Pinnacle Communications Limited; its founder, Lucky Omonuwa; and its Managing Director, Dipo Onifade, for alleged fraud to the tune of N2.5bn. The charges were filed before a Federal High Court, Abuja, sequel to an investigation by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission. According to court documents obtained by The PUNCH, 12 charges were preferred against the accused persons by Mr. Henry Emore and Adenekan Shogunle, on behalf of the Attorney-General of the Federation. The Presidency had in 2016, released N10bn to the Ministry of Information and Culture for the digital switch-over programme which entails migration of telephone lines from analogue to digital platforms and a White Paper was issued directing that the process be specifi
