Po pular Nigerian politician and the Country's Ambassador to the Kingdom of Spain, Demola Seriki is dead. Seriki was said to have died in the early hours of Thursday, according to a banner spotted online. He was aged 63. The banner reads: "Inna lillāhi-wa-inna-ilayhi-raji'ūn It is with heavy hearts and profound gratitude to Almighty Allah that we announce the loss of our much loved and admired patriarch, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, His Excellency, Ambassador Ademola Rasaq Atanda Seriki (CON) on December 15th, 2022. Oyo State Governor, ‘Seyi Makinde has approved the appointment of a number of aides who will see to the running of the office of the Deputy Governor, Barrister Abdulroheem Adebayo Lawal. Those appointed include Barrister Ajibade Hassan Adewumi (Senior Special Assistant, Legal Matters); Mr. Nasiru Ogede Ayinde (SSA Projects); Mr. Badmus Shuaib Adesola (SSA Domestic); Kehinde Joel (SSA Online Media); Mr. Oyedeji Ahmed (SSA Public Affairs); Mr. Ajagbe Yusuff Olatunji (SSA Political); Omolere Omoetan (SSA Media) and Mr. Adebayo Wahab Adewale (SSA Administration).
