Former Vice President and Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Atiku Abnubakar has promised to complete the projects abandoned by the ruling All Progressives Congress if elected. He made the promise after the PDP rally in Lokoja, the Kogi State capital on Monday. Atiku Abubakar, who said he felt at home in Kogi State reminded people that “the two power stations in Kogi and the stadium are legacies of the PDP”. He went on to note that “creation of jobs is the priority of the PDP” just as he assured that “the abandoned projects of the APC will be completed”. Atiku also took to Twitter to condemn the coup attempt in Gabon as he pointed out that military rule has no place in Africa. “The attempted coup in Gabon stands condemned. Military rule is an aberration and has no place in Africa.
