The Peoples Democratic Party, Osun State Chapter has sympathized with the Osun State Chapter of Okada Riders Association and other Traders' groups who went on peaceful demonstration in Osogbo on Tuesday over what they called "outrageous levies in the state." The legislator representing Obokun Oriade Federal Constituency, Honourable Oluwole Oke has condemned the state of kidnapping by the Fulani herdsmen in the constituency in the recent time, saying the situation is becoming unbearable. Hon Oke described the kidnapping activities as barbaric, ungodly and hostility to humanity. While charging the State Government to profer solutions to the security challenges in the Ijesa land and entire Osun State, he promised to liaise properly with the various security operatives to ensure peaceful life and rest of mind for the people.
