The residents of Railway and Idi-Ishin communities have assured the candidate of the African Democratic Congress, ADC for Ibadan North West/ South West federal constituency, Dr. Wasiu Adewale Olatubosun of bulky votes cast in the coming national assembly elections.
The pledge was made on Sunday at separate gatherings of the both community's dwellers in ward 12 of Ibadan South West local government area of the federal constituency.
Dr. Wasiu Olatubosun while canvassing the inhabitants of the Nigerian Railway Corporations' and Omiyale quarters promised to show by examples of how responsive representations can foster better lives for the people at the grassroots.
He pledged to work with every concerned and passionate individual in all the communities of the domain to ensure appropriate fulfilment of the election promises in consonance to the requests of people domiciled in the benefitting neighborhoods.
Olatubosun who allayed fears of being used and dumped with the habitual neglects by political office seekers thanked Chairman of the community, Mr. Rahamon Luqman for the honors and belief repose in him to market his candidacy to the people of the area.
He therefore guaranteed facilitation of series of ameliorating projects in human and community developments within a short of period of his assumption in office if elected as next honourable member representing the constituency in Abuja.
Ditto, the teeming populace of Idi-Ishin have vowed to reward all the standard bearers of the African Democratic Congress, ADC with block votes in the next electioneering.
The cheery decision was unanimously announced at the contact meeting which was hosted in instance of Dr. Wasiu Adewale Olatubosun, the candidate of the party for Ibadan North West / South West federal constituency in the 2019 general elections.
Olatubosun who was in the community to galvanize support from the eligible voters in his quest to represent the constituency in the upper legislative chamber swore to have footprints with social infrastructures and other enabling support to different category of people in the community.
He relaxed the disenchanted people who lamented recurring failures of electoral candidates who had promised and marginalized after the elections of operating an open door policy where every constituent will be allowed to contribute towards the progress of the district.
Supporting his claims were Hon. Niyi Tinuala and Pastor A. S Adepoju who prevailed on the gathering to rest assured of entering into a new lease of life if fulfill the pact by doing every thing humanly possible to ensure the emergence of Olatubosun and others on the platform of the ADC in the next polls.
In his remarks, Chief Muritala Ajadi, the Baale of the community lauded Dr. Olatubosun for his virtues and approach in rooting the communities to unveil his missions and interact with the people on how to make lives meaningful for them after the elections.
He hailed the choice of Sen. Olufemi Lanlehin as the gubernatorial candidate of the ADC whom he described as a God sent helper to the community over the sinking of the industrial motorized borehole which salvaged the teeming residents of the community from water borne and other related diseases.
He therefore on behalf of the chiefs and entire house owners and other occupants promised to ensure the cast of one way vote for all the candidates of the ADC in the elections across the all polling units in the settlement as he charged the people of the community by raising an awareness team to carry everyone along towards the actualization of the promise.
