Ekiti Assembly Crisis: Hon. Aribisogan Writes Speaker Over Media Attack Plans On Olujimi's Person.

Minority Leader in Ekiti House of Assembly and the honourable representing Ikole-Ekiti Constituency 1, Hon. Gboyega Aribisogan has written an open letter to the Speaker of the House, Hon. Kola Oluwawole, over plans of the honourables loyal to Governor Fayose to attack the person of Senator Abiodun Olukimi.

In the letter titled "Do Not Join The Multitude To Do Evil", Aribisogan called on the leadership of the present Assembly in the state, especially the Speaker to desist from politics of bitterness and hate, in other to leave behind a legacy worthy of emulation for those coming behind.

" I'm constrained to write this open letter to you, when I read on Ekiti Fifth Assembly's WhatsApp wall that all of us should go ahead and attack Senator Biodun Olujimi in the media. The turn of events in Ekiti State House of Assembly calls for sober reflection.

As a member of the Fifth Assembly, I'm deeply touched and worried about what type of legacy we shall bequeath to those coming after us. The show of shame of the last one year seems not abating despite all efforts to return the House to the path of Honour.

The latest attempt to suspend some members because of their relationship with Senator Biodun Olujimi and the mischievous role of some members led by Samuel Omotoso is an open sore. It has further expose the House members as political clowns who can always be tossed around by Governor Ayo Fayose. It has also shown the woeful inadequacies of the principal officers of the House and your incompetence as Speaker.

I know you are being prodded to take these decisions to destroy destinies by the Governor. As an elder and as a pastor in God's own Temple, what account will you give to God as your stewardship of this Fifth Assembly?

I expect you to advise the Governor and Samuel Omotoso to stop using you and the House to attack and denigrate people, particularly those who have assisted you in the past.

I expect your conscience to be fair enough to speak the truth to the governor of the consequences of this grave character assassination of an innocent soul. How I wish you can be honest also to tell Samuel Omotoso and his cohorts that no sinner will go unpunished if not now but in the future.

I thought you will be honest to tell world, the role Senator Olujimi as an agent of peace and support had played in stabilizing the House in the past. I know you can not forget in a hurry the contributions of Mrs Olujimi to the emergence of Governor Fayose as Governor in 2014.

If those of you who are now being asked to attack her have forgotten. Let me remind you that Mrs Olujimi had always been helping you financially each time your paymaster was not there for us . No member, I repeat, non out of the 26 members can deny Senator Olujimi's financial support. She remains a pillar of support for the Assembly. Let Governor Fayose and Dipo Anisulowo, the Chief haters of Olujimi know this. A fight with Olujimi is a fight with more than two third of us.

I remembered vividly how many times, Hons. Wale Ayeni, Onigiobi Fawale Olawale, Dele Fajemileyin including Samuel Omotoso called the Senator and demanded for financial assistance while pledging their loyalty to her. I knew when Hons Dayo Akinleye and some of you were praising Senator Olujimi to high heavens whenever you are sharing largesse.

Rt. Hon I know you cannot forget her assistance to you recently when you and the Majority leader, Hon. Akinyele were stranded in Lagos. Your paymaster refused to foot the bill because you went for a seminar but Senator Olujimi did by making sure you leave Lagos happy. Governor Fayose is holding you and the rest to ransome on the excuse that he assisted you to get to where you are. Did he get to where he is by his own singular effort?.

My Rt Hon. Ekiti people are watching you. History is recording you and your principal officer who have turned the legislative arm of government to an extension of governor Fayose's office. Nigerians are watching you and how you have been violating the rules and trampling on the Constitution just because you want to satisfy a demagogue who is at his wits end.

You need to change your ways and redeem your honour. Loyalty is not when you join the multitude to do evil. Loyalty is not when you destroy others to satisfy a master. Loyalty is about being honest and truthful.

Senator Biodun Olujimi has not done anything wrong. She doesn't deserve the bashing of the House. On my own honour. I cannot be part of those who will attack her just to satisfy Governor Fayose and his retinue of serial betrayers."

Meet Ibadan's 10 Big Real Estate Players

The real estate sector in Oyo State, especially Ibadan, the capital city, is currently experiencing what could best be described as a mega boom. Thanks to the few investors who saw the vision years back and keyed into it by contributing their quotas to the development of the sector. Kudos also to the Governor Seyi Makinde-led administration in the state for creating an enabling environment (the successive governments couldn't be excused from the success story too). Not only has Makinde's administration created an enabling environment, it has introduced some investors-friendly policies, and as well undertook partnerships that had really helped in bringing about the unprecedented developments in the sector. This has also created room for options for those who are interested in both luxury and low cost estates. Its also explains reasons for the many real estate projects (both completed and ongoing) all over the place. There are developments and construction almost everywhere in Ib
