UNLESS NIGERIANS PRAY FOR BUHARI, WHAT HAPPENED TO YAR’ADUA WILL HAPPEN TO HIM”- PROPHET OLAGUNJU

Prophet Wale Olagunju, the Presiding Bishop of the Divine Seed of God Chapel, Sasa, Ibadan, January 21, 2017 will remain a memorable day. His outreach ministry, Last Days World Outreach Prophetic Ministry was launched while he was also commissioned to embark on a Nationwide Repentance Crusade.
Apostle John Oyelade, a former Vice President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN (Oyo State chapter) presided while those in attendance included Rev James Ojelade, Chief (Mrs.)  Aegbite, the Maye Iyalode of Ibadanland, Mrs. Otulana, from the National Council of Women Societies, Rev Oyekale, Chief Iyabo Oladosu among others.

The Anchor Online’s WOLE ADEJUMO and DARE ADENIRAN of City People had a chat with the prophet about the new commission as well as the situation of Nigeria, just before the programme. In the course of the interview, he disclosed that unless Nigerians pray for the President, what happened to former President Yar’ Adua will happen to him. Excerpts:

You are commissioning an outreach, what brought about the Last Days World Outreach?
We are conducting three programmes today. The first one is the commissioning which means send forth. When you look at Luke Chapter 9, the Lord Jesus sent forth his disciples. The Lord God Almighty instructed me last year that I should be commissioned, I should gather men of God, they should pray for me; that He wants to send me out. He gave me that name, Last Days World Outreach Prophetic Ministries.
He said I should embark on crusades with the theme “National Repentance Crusade” and I should prophesy good things into people’s lives. So it was an instruction from the Almighty God. I have been like this for 16 years moving from one mountain to the other without taking my bath. I nearly isolated myself from people, even my family. I didn’t know that this was what God wanted to do in my life. So we are doing the commissioning and launching World Outreach Prophetic Ministry and it will take off this year by the grace of God.

Where would you be starting from, looking at the fact that so many things are wrong in Nigeria?
That is why the Lord Almighty said I should embark on repentance crusade, because sin has grounded Nigeria. Even mere looking at the church today, it is money galore. The Bible says righteousness exalts a nation. So sin has really grounded Nigeria. That is why God is sending me out, the hope of the world is the Lord Jesus Christ and there will be changes by the grace of God.

People are no longer keen about the word of God. There is so much believe in prosperity. How do you intend to convince people that repentance is the way God wants them to go?
People know me to be a man of God and that I have a prophetic ministry so it is God that will convince them. I told you that the Lord sent me on an errand to embark on a national repentance crusade, that Jesus is the solution to their problems.  There will be change; I will convince them through the word of God. I believe the Lord will change them.
In the church today, it is money galore. There is problem in the church. Who knows maybe that is the reason God raised me up at this particular time?

You prophesied years back that President Umar Yar’Adua would die and it eventually happened. In your 2017 prophecy, you mentioned that President Buhari is sick. Has God showed you something concerning his sickness and what could be the way out?
Late last year, I said the President was sick. He went abroad and when he came back, his Special Adviser on Media, Mr. Femi Adesina said the President was not sick. In my 2017 prophecies, the type of disease affecting the man was stated clearly. High blood pressure, liver and kidney problems and I declare authoritatively that the President is sick.
Let me be clear, if Nigerians fail to pray for Buhari, what happened during the time of President Yar’ Adua will happen. So the only solution is prayer. What happened to Yar’Adua will happen to Buhari.

Government seems to be poking its nose into church affairs, for instance a new regulation led to the stepping down of popular General Overseer, Pastor E.O Adeboye. What do you think of this?
The law on ground has been in existence for maybe three or four years, even before Buhari became President. And some of our people defended that law, though it did not pull through then. The issue is this; the Christian leaders caused all these problems we are talking about.
To me, it is an insult for anybody to force Pastor Adeboye to resign. But the reality is this, Adeboye, Oyedepo, Oritsejafor and others were not careful enough. They should have separated religion from politics. With due respect, Adeboye is so close to those reckless and wasteful leaders of our nation. Are you saying if Buhari should probe the so called Bishops and CAN executives, there won’t be scandals?

But the Bible says we should pray for our leaders…
(Cuts in) including those criminals?

And now you are starting a repentance crusade, won’t you be calling on them to repent?
That does not mean I should be moving with those reckless leaders.

But if you are not close to them, how do you get your message across to them?
Will they change? That is the question now. Are they not the problem of our nation? Let’s talk about Jonathan; Nigerian Bishops said Jonathan was the anointed candidate for 2015. He went to Jerusalem with 2,000 bishops, they prayed for him, they anointed him, they came and said behold; Jonathan till 2019. They misled him and pushed him to disgrace.
Now, if they say Jonathan is the anointed candidate, why should Buhari defeat a Christian President?  Most of the Bishops have derailed. At that time, Oristejafor became the campaign manager for Jonathan 2015.
In December 2014 at the Redemption Camp, they were conducting an end of the year programme, Osinbajo was there, Jonathan was there. Pastor Adeboye now found himself in between two different people seeking for one thing. He prayed for Osinbajo, he also prayed for Jonathan. What can you say about it?

One of the points the embattled Chairman of the FRC raised was that church is different from business, if you are running a church and you are going into business enterprises ventures, you have to pay tax. If that is not possible, then the likes of Dangote can easily establish a church and put all their businesses under that umbrella. What opened their eyes to that is the flamboyant lifestyle of Church leaders.
They are too flamboyant. Some of them live even better than Governors. Some of them like kings. It is not biblical for them to embark on business; things should be done strictly according to the Bible. Look at the schools they are building, so costly.
They love money more than God. And when you allow the love of money to take over your heart, the love of God cannot be there. They invited the government to poke its nose into the affairs of the church. Look at their lifestyle; they are buying jets.
Look at Pastor Adeboye, personally, I am not happy with the way they asked the man to step down.  His son, who doubles as his PA said Buhari forced his father to resign. Many people are just saying they want to retire some people. Who knows maybe they had security reports that indicted some bishops?

The law says you cannot oversee a church for more than 20 years
Are you saying Buhari will ask me to retire if I spend more than 20 years? The government will never do that because I am not on their payroll. I am not responsible to them; I am not colleting anything from them. I am a minister of God with permanent portfolio, I am responsible to God. I am an ambassador and Christ’s representative on earth, so how can they retire me?

How then do we separate business from church?
We need to separate business from church and separate religion from government. It is the government that polluted many of these people; they showered money on them. In 2014, they were having about 300 pastors in Aso Rock Villa and they were getting paid. Why should a pastor be there?

Was it that they were being paid salaries? Remember the Bible says when you give a prophet a cup of water; you have a prophet’s reward.
Not this type o. Let me tell you one thing, Satan used Jonathan to perpetrate corruption in the life of the church and its ministers. God is now using Buhari to wake them up. I am saying should  Buhari commence probe today on these people, many Christians will be saying they are waging war against Christianity.
Let me chip this in, during the time of Yar’Adua, I had the privilege, about seven different times, they called me to come and pray for the President when they saw my prophecies. I refused because I knew the man would die and I told them God told me not to go. I know they would give me money but I want my Christian life. The modern day bishops would not look at it that way.

Are you saying that some of those who call themselves men of God today were not actually called by God?
If you read some of my write ups around 2014, I kept talking to them to shun some ways. The modern day bishops are the problems of the church. The reason is that they are not rooted in the word of God; they are simply after money and that is why the government is poking its nose.
You seem to be different from the everyday pastor or preacher, who really is prophet Wale Olagunju?
I am Wale Olagunju, the oracle of the Living God in Ibadan. I am not different from you. It is just that I have the gift and the calling of God in my life. That is exactly what separates me from the people and I am a disciplined person. I don’t want my life to contradict what I profess and what is in the Bible.
I always pray that God will continue to guide me so that by the time I leave this planet earth, I will reign with Jesus Christ in heaven.
I have been following your predictions and prophecies for some years now; about 12 years ago, you said Nigeria would break. In your 2017 prophecies, you said Biafra will be actualized and recently, Bishop Oyedepo was recently quoted as saying ‘if it is the wish of God to break Nigeria, so be it’. How does this make you feel?
That is a conditional statement, if. I am not using if. The Lord God Almighty revealed to me that whether our leaders like it or not, it will happen. It is just a matter of time and no amount of peace talk can change it.
He was just saying what God has revealed to me. Nigeria will break and the feasibility of breaking up of Nigeria is on the ground now. And that is the only solution to Nigeria’s crisis. The other time, Jonathan was just celebrating 100 years of incompatibility. We have been moving from one crisis to another, one leader to another with nothing to show for it.
Won’t this bring more crises? Considering the fact that there might be bloodshed?
There is not going to be bloodshed. Go through my 2017 prophecy, it is clearly stated how the nation will break up.
You also said in the prophecy that if former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar contests against President Buhari in 2019, he will floor the incumbent President.
Even if the elections are held now. I am saying with the authority of the Lord Jesus Christ that Atiku Abubakar will defeat Buhari hands down. He has messed things up and his government is not functioning well. I am one of the few prophets in Nigeria who predicted the coming of Buhari. 90% of my prophecies in 2015 centred around Buhari.
He has derailed. The Lord Almighty gave him three mandates; I wrote him and they acknowledged the letter. I wrote him that your mandate is to cleanse Nigeria of corruption. You must commence where you stopped and move against those who recklessly looted Nigeria’s treasury, show mercy to the poor. The reverse is the case. That is why God tore his government. That is why he is moving from one crisis to another crisis, and I warned him. I told him not to allow tribalism to derail his government; today Buhari is pro Hausa, pro Arewa, pro Muslim. Look at the NNPC, Buhari is the Minister for Petroleum, Kachikwu is the Minister of State, the Group Managing Director is from the North, the person in charge of the Petroleum Equalization Fund is from the North. He marginalized the people of the South South and the Yorubas.
These are the things and he also singlehandedly took Nigeria’s problem to Mecca knowing fully well that not even a trailer can contain the problems of Nigeria. I told him, God Almighty has torn your government and has given it to another person and I have no regret over that prediction.
Let’s go back to the repentance programe, who really is the target audience for this crusade?
Everybody. We all have sinned, our leaders have sinned, the downtrodden people have sinned or is it the pastors that have been talking about money, they have derailed. It is God first in our lives so we have to take our nation back from the hands of the devil.

Meet Ibadan's 10 Big Real Estate Players

The real estate sector in Oyo State, especially Ibadan, the capital city, is currently experiencing what could best be described as a mega boom. Thanks to the few investors who saw the vision years back and keyed into it by contributing their quotas to the development of the sector. Kudos also to the Governor Seyi Makinde-led administration in the state for creating an enabling environment (the successive governments couldn't be excused from the success story too). Not only has Makinde's administration created an enabling environment, it has introduced some investors-friendly policies, and as well undertook partnerships that had really helped in bringing about the unprecedented developments in the sector. This has also created room for options for those who are interested in both luxury and low cost estates. Its also explains reasons for the many real estate projects (both completed and ongoing) all over the place. There are developments and construction almost everywhere in Ib
