Budget Padding: Fear Grips House Of Reps Members As Dogara Blocked From Independence Celebration.

If news making the rounds on social media is anything to go by then the House of Representative is most likely to witness yet another rowdy session on Tuesday.

Speaker of the House, Hon. Yakubu Dogara was said to have been blocked by the presidency from attending Independent Day Celebration yesterday as a result of calls from the general public for Hon. Jibrin's fraud accusations against the House leadership to be looked into.

And this development has however sent a bad signal to the leadership of the House of Reps and the rest members.

The concerned groups within the house are said to be engaged in an internal campaign to cover their back and some are of the opinion that, they should sacrifice the four Members that were initially mentioned by the embattled former Chairman, Appropriation Committee, Hon. Abdulmuminu Jibrin. Who has for sometime now been on a showdown with the House Speaker and its leadership.

According to a report, members have all agreed that Jibrin has already exposed the House and he has brought to the knowledge their unlawful allowances which if EFCC will charge every member that collected it, they will all go to jail. Therefore, they are to come together and protect Dogara and few others so that they can also be protected.

In the report, it was established further that in order to strengthen their campaign to cover up their mess collectively, Dagora and few others have sacrifice huge amount of money to engage the PDP Members of the House to rally their support for the Speaker and probably pass another vote of confidence on him on Tuesday.
