Barr. Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, Former Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) in the early hour of today emerges as the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the governorship election in Ondo State.
Akeredolu got a total votes of 669 out of 2,774 votes to beat other contestants in the primary election, supervised by Governor Mohammed Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa State led committee.
He was closely followed by Dr. Segun Abraham who had 635 votes. Chief Olusola Oke had 576 while former House of Assembly Speaker, Victor Olabimtan had 18. Hon Ademola Adegoroye had no vote.
