"Present Recession Is Self Imposed By Some Inappropriate Steps And Could Be Addressed Within 24 Hours."- Hon. Wole Oke.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) honourable representing Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency from Osun State, in the Federal House of Representatives, Wole Oke has made known his view on state of the nation.

He believes the recession in which Nigeria found itself is self-imposed by inappropriate decision or actions. And could be corrected within 24 hours if truly we want to. That all it takes is to reverse two major decisions.

In a brief chat with trendscopenewsonline recently, Wole Oke revealed that to put an end to the economic recession presently facing the country that, 1, there must be cancellation of Crude & Petroleum Oil pipe monitoring contract and attack on the contractors.

2, the hostility in Fiscal and Monetary policies must be reviewed.

According to him, "Are we truly in economic recession? I think it's self imposed by some inappropriate actions or decisions. This can be corrected within 24 hours if we want to. All we have to do is to reverse two decisions."

"Cancellation of Crude & Petroleum Oil pipe monitoring contract and attack on the contractors. The second reason is hostile fiscal and monetary policies," he stated.

For the record, Wole Oke is an accomplished businessman cum politician and Tax expert. He studied Taxation Law at IALS, University of London.

He barged LLB at the University of Buckingham, England and studied Business Studies at the Polytechnic of Ibadan.
