There is this hard-to-believe story presently trending on the social media. It is the unbelievable action of a 300-level student of the University of Ilorin who voluntary withdrew his admission from the school based on personal conviction that his new lifestyle (as a born again Christian) would not allow him to continue. Since his academic foundation, according to him, is built on faulty foundation.
Abolarin Akin Jephthah, a 300-level student of the Department of Sociology with matric number (13/77jd010), in his letter to the school authority on why he is withdrawing from school, stated that since his WAEC examination result on which basis he was admitted into the university was gotten through examination malpractices.
And now that he has encountered Jesus Christ and accepted Him as his saviour, there no point for him to continue.
Jephthah firmly believes that just like the house built on a faulty foundation will surely collapse, a career built on faulty foundation will also collapse. He has since decided to start all over again.
The moves many have described to be very brave and rear in the present society of ours and thereby suggesting him to be made an ambassador of CHANGE.
Do you think he deserves to be one?.
