Dorothy Onyekasi, 41, from Enugu State and mother of three was not so lucky yesterday Sunday 17th April, 2016, as she was caught by the officials of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) with 1.720kilogram substance tested to be Cocaine.
Street value of the drugs was put at #20.6m.
Onyekasi was nailed at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, on her way from Dubai, United Arabs Emirate (UAE), pretending to be pregnant.
But her pregnancy was later discovered to be 86 raps of cocaine strategically strapped in a waist bag, tied to her stomach.
According to the suspect, "it is all my fault. When I was preparing to return, I met a man in Dubai who gave me the drug and promised to give me enough money to expand my business. "He also told me that when I get to Nigeria, he would call his patner to collect the drug and give me my money. If only I was contented with profit from the sales of my goods; I wouldn't have been in this problem."
