There are strong indications that the number two man of the Nigeria's financial regulatory body, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Adebayo Adelabu might be warming up to participate in Oyo politics. Apart from the fact that he is now being addressed as the incoming governor come 2019 at social functions, some claimed the brilliant banker has been consulting widely underground.

Though he has not at any point in time come out to declare officially whether he is joining politics or not.
