Report that came in couple of minutes ago has it that the veteran musician, whose area of speciality in his ace days was 'Kuntigi', Dan Maraya Jos is dead.

The veteran musician we gathered passed away today, 20th June, 2015, after a brief illness.
Dan Maraya Jos, whose name means “The Little Orphan of Jos”, was born in 1946 and died today in B’ukur, near Jos in Plateau State.

Though born Adamu Wayya some 69 years ago, but chose Dan Maraya Jos as name due to his parents death when he was still very young.

May his gentle soul rest in peace.
