Ijebu-Ode Born Top Socialite, Prince Bode Oshinusi Dies.

Death has been announced of popular socialite, Prince Bode Oshinusi. The Ijebu-Ode born high chief and one of the foremost businessmen in Nigeria, we gathered died today at the age of 80 years plus and will be buried tomorrow 5th June, 2015, according to Islamic rites.

Ironically, Chief Bode Oshinusi died ten days after he celebrated his 80th birthday. He clocked 80 on May 24, 2015. The prayer and thanksgiving session held in his honour at Yard 158, Kudirat Abiola Way, Oregun, Lagos, had the who-is-who in the social scene in attendance. King Sunny Ade was on the bandstand.

Chief Bode Oshinusi in his lifetime was one of the high socialites who dominated the social scene for about four decades, especially in the 80s/90s.Many Nigeria music artistes have sang his praise at one point or the other. The most prominent of such special numbers for Oshinusi is the one Chief Commander Ebeneze Obey did for him.
