Though some top members of the National Working Committee (NWC) and National Executive Committee (NEC) from the North have being accused of responsible for Jonathan's loss, but some believe there are other factors more than meets the eye.
The northern leaders were blamed for conniving with APC to make PDP failed even in its strongholds like Kogi, Benue and Plateau.
Recall that long before the presidential election, some members of the PDP had accused their National Chairman, Adamu Mu'azu of anti-party moves. An allegations he has denied severally.
Last week again, a former Senior Special Adviser to President Jonathan on Political Affairs, Ahmed Gulak called for the resignation of Mu'azu for the party to have failed under his chairmanship.
