Mr. Segun Fayose, a United Kingdom-based accountant and elder brother of the executive governor of Ekiti State, Gov. Ayodele Fayose, has lambasted his brother for his uncultured behaviour. Segun made this powerful statement while speaking with some journalists in Ekiti State some days ago, thereby pleaded with the governor to stop embarrassing their family name.
Segun maintained that the family cherished the name more than anything. And rather for Fayose to be maintaining the good name that their late father, who he described as a gentle and kind man in his life time, has buit, he is just embarrassing other Fayoses.
By insulting elders like former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo and the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), General Muhammadu Buhari, who are old enough to be his father. Segun went further to say that this Fayose's attitude has affected negatively, as many people now beleieve the Fayoses are rude, which is not true.
"This is one of the reasons I said people should not vote for Fayose before the last Ekiti guber election. Am not just happy with the situation of this country, especially the way Nigerians are celebrating criminality. I have no link with any leader and anybody who says I have collected money from the opposition should challenge me openly".
"I don't need anything from anybody, all I want is for Fayose to stop damaging my father's name.
I have warned him severally but he won't listen. That is why whenever people call me to report him I plead with them to forgive our family.
'If all I am saying is not true, my six children should die and I should end up in shame".
